Science on Tap: The Science of Beer

Science on Tap is an opportunity for conversation, debate and interaction between scientists and the public while drinking beer. Each month at SpeakEZ Lounge, a knowledgeable expert hosts a discussion about scientific current topics such as cutting edge cancer detection techniques, climate change and brewing beer.

This is a great chance to exercise your academic interests in a casual setting while enjoying great food and adult beverages!

This month: The Science of Beer

Come learn the science that goes into making a delicious pint of beer. Brewery Vivant’s Wandering Monk and Certified Cicerone Ryan Engemann will be covering the process from the ingredients to how a modern brewery uses science to make your beer as delicious as possible.
